First of all, I watched this in two days because once I started with the first episode I couldn’t stop. Except when I passed out to sleep. This drama is funny as hell. FUNNY AS HELL. I really loved it.
The drama is about a 27-year old Sakaki Makio (Nagase Tomoya), who is the eldest son of a Yakuza group. Sakaki is very brass and Yakuza-like, and his favorite things are alcohol, fighting, women and pudding. Apparently the boss of their Yakuza group, his dad, is getting old and they’re thinking of handing the bossmanship over to the eldest son, Sakaki, but alas, Sakaki is a very dumb shit and apparently Yakuza can’t respect a dumb leader, so Sakaki’s dad puts Sakaki back to high school. His dad says that if Sakaki does not graduate in one year, the bossmanship will be handed over to Sakaki’s little brother, who has brains but who is frail and sickly. And Sakaki can’t have that, so he agrees to go to school and act like a 17-year old for a year.
