I don’t get it… you haven’t completed your a-levels, but you are graduating? OK.. As for university, all I can say is do the research. I graduated last year; I now go to uni in the UK and it’s great, but if you want it to be more campusy feel go to the US. Research financial aid options, especially for the US. Quite a few schools are need-blind for international students, or they have generous loan options.
One pro of Aussie/NZ is that it’s closer to Asia, so you’ll be “closer” to your family in a sense. At least, same-ish time zone HAHA. Personally, I would go for UK or US.
What are you going to study?
As for not feeling ready, I did feel that, but once you actually apply to the uni, and get your decisions, you’ll get used to the idea. I was just like “yea uni uni whatev” until like, April last year and then “omg major stress”. Plus you’ve got the summer holidays as well. I assume you’re going to apply either next year or the year after cos you haven’t done your A-levels yet. You’ll be a totally different person in September 2013 or 2014 (or Jan/Feb, if you are going to Australia. And April? for Japan).
Haha this is my attempt at advice, sorry if it fails. XD
